PFA CEO John Didulica believes the FFA is starting to do the “little things right” following a successful A-League finals series.
Mr Didulica says the finals acted as a “reaffirmation” of the passion Australian’s have for football and the game’s improvement.
“When we do get it right and the stars align we have an incredible competition and we should not lose sight of that,” Mr Didulica told FNR_Football Nation Radio.
Mr Didulcia also believes the finals reaffirmed the game heading in the right direction and emphasises the importance of “making sensible decisions that will hold the game in good stead.”
In relation to the VAR Mr Didulica believes the FFA must “think carefully” as to whether the league persists with it long term.
“We’re still learning as a league, we’ve got our P-plates on and have been given a Ferrari to drive,
“There are so many challenges facing the league and we now have to put VAR on top of that.” Mr Didulica said.
