Sydney FC W-League midfielder Kylie Ledbrook says the squad must be mentally prepared for when they host Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday.
With only game remaining in the regular W-League season Sydney FC can jump to first on the table with a win should Brisbane lose, but could potentially drop to third with a loss.
“It’s definitely huge, it always is when it’s a derby game,” Ledbrook said.
Ledbrook told Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio’s Calcio Café she has enjoyed “making up for lost time” this season after spending five years away from the game.
Ledbrook emphasised the significant improvement in professionalism and standards both on and off the field since her first stint in the W-League.
“You don’t know who’s going to be in [Sydney FC’s] starting line up because they all deserve to be there,” Ledbrook said.
Calcio Café airs daily from 7am (AEDT) hosted by Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio.
