listen to dario vidosic discuss his recent move to melbourne city
Dario Vidosic says he feels a sense of pride in having signed for Melbourne City, yesterday on FNR_Football Nation Radio.
Vidosic scored a brace in City’s 5-0 win over Adelaide United on Sunday night and is optimistic the side are capable of success this season.
“We can all be really enthusiastic. We are compact and difficult to break down,” Vidosic said.
Vidosic told the Four Diego’s last night on FNR_Football Nation Radio Melbourne City approached to sign him personally, not having an agent at the time of his exit from Wellington.
Despite receiving offers from Asia, Vidosic was adamant to continue playing in the A-League.
“I wanted to be here and contribute to Australian football. I am proud to have signed for City,” Vidosic said.
The 30-year-old was released by Wellington Phoenix late last year and is determined to repay the faith shown in him by manager Warren Joyce.
“For an individual [City] have everything in place for you to be the best player you can be,” Vidosic said.
Vidosic has scored two goals in four appearances since moving to Melbourne City.
The Four Diego’s airs every Monday and Thursday from 6pm (AEDT) on FNR_Football Nation Radio.
