listen to Sydney Olympic ceo john boulous address the tim cahill rumours
Sydney Olympic CEO John Boulous says the club has “made [their] intentions clear” should an opportunity arise to sign Socceroo Tim Cahill.
Cahill is currently without a club ahead of the FIFA World Cup and has been linked to boyhood club Sydney Olympic following his stint with Millwall.
Mr Boulous told FNR_Football Nation Radio Cahill continues to “raise the bar” wherever he goes and “could bring a lot to [Sydney Olympic] both on and off the field.”
Cahill started his career at Sydney Olympic in 1995 before a brief move to Sydney United.
Mr Boulous says the club has no doubt Cahill will be making an appearance at his fourth consecutive World Cup.
“I think he’s got is mind firmly set and rightly so on the World Cup and as a former player at the club we wish him all the best for that,” Mr Boulous said.
The Preview Show airs every Friday from 3pm (AEST) hosted by George Donikian, Athos Sirianos and Nick D’Urbano on FNR_Football Nation Radio.
