Newcastle Jets right-back, Hannah Brewer has exemplified the need to be on the same wave length as her team-mates heading into their W-League Semi Final clash against Sydney FC.
Brewer, spoke to Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio’s Calcio Café on Wednesday morning and described the past few weeks as ‘tough’ following a string of up and down results.
“It has been a tough few weeks for us and it has been anything but us girls not being on the same page on the field so I think that is something we can work on,” Brewer said.
In addition, Brewer spoke about her belief that if her team-mates are all on the same page that Newcastle can go deep in the W-League finals.
“If you look at our performance after the Adelaide game we were really all on the same page and we wanted that win and that win could take us deep into the finals series,” Brewer said.
Newcastle Jets face Sydney FC on Saturday at Leichardt Oval in the first W-League semi-final.
