Sydney FC goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe says the W-League has become a beacon for many players from the United States.
Bledsoe signed for Sydney FC this season and says one of the biggest drawcards in coming to the W-League is being able to play during the MLS off-season.
Bledsoe told Carlos Alberto Diego on Calcio Café this morning she had “been trying to play in the W-League for the past couple of years” and is grateful to have been given the opportunity by Sydney FC.
In addition, Bledsoe highlighted the Matildas’ significant improvement over the past few years.
“It’s no surprise we have so many Australians playing in the States,” Bledsoe said.
Calcio Café airs daily from 7am (AEDT) hosted by Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio
