listen to phil moss' thoughts on the big blue below
Sydney FC assistant coach Phil Moss says he expects nothing short of “a great performance down in Melbourne” against Melbourne Victory tomorrow at AAMI Park.
Sydney have won their past five meetings against the Victory, much of which Phil Moss believes is due to the mental strength of the players.
Moss told Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio’s Calcio Café Graham Arnold has emphasised the players “clear their subconscious minds” whenever they step out onto the field.
“Graham [Arnold] is a master tactician and he has a plan, as he does for every opposition and it’s up to the players to execute,” Moss said.
Moss also highlighted on the significance of the ‘Big Blue’ fixture, describing it as “a game not hard to get up for.”
When asked about Graham Arnold, Moss heavily praised Arnold’s ability to build a strong rapport with his players.
“Communication has always been a key, open and honest communication between him and his players and it’s worked magnificently,” Moss said.
Calcio Café airs daily from 7am (AEDT) hosted by Carlos Alberto Diego on FNR_Football Nation Radio.
